It was just three weeks ago that Crane and St. Paul battled each other on a neutral site with neither having a loss on their record.
After a 64-49 win by Crane, the outline for the state playoffs appeared set and it hasn't fallen off - it's Crane vs. St. Paul into the final unless someone can stop them.
The Class 1A state playoffs begin next week with Crane still posting an unbeaten record, and St. Paul with just the one loss on Jan. 25 at Bend High School - almost perfectly set mid-distance between the two schools separated by 300 miles.
